Putting together an expedition on the scale of The Coldest Journey requires years of planning and dedication. Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Anton Bowring began preparations over five years ago and since then have recruited some of the most experienced people in their fields to create a dedicated and highly-skilled group of volunteers.
