We now have 9,500+ likes on our Facebook page. This is a great following and we would like to thank everyone who follows us on Facebook, Twitter and this website for your on-going enthusiasm and support, which is invaluable.

On days like today when the team is stuck in a ferocious blizzard it must be easy for them to see themselves as a tiny dot on a huge, barren and deadly landscape. For them to know that they are not entirely alone and that people from around the world are right behind them is extremely important for morale and motivation.

And what better way could there be to prove our support than by leaping forward and breaking the 10,000 like milestone that hangs so closely within reach? I realise that many of our website supporters may never use Facebook, but please may I ask you all to think of any friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances who you think might be interested in The Coldest Journey and invite them to follow us on Facebook (and of course here, on the website!).
